The Wild Bullock Swamp: Two years ago we had a young crew of nieces, nephews and friend's kids in to spray blackberry in the 50 hectare Wild Bullock Swamp - Spray Camp 2019.
Jump forward to March 2021, it was time to get in and spray the same area again. Looking back on photographs from the 2019 spray year, we’ve come a long way and we are winning the fight of controlling this menace. Although we experienced some large infestations, they were nothing like what we encountered two years ago. Hopefully this will be the last major spray event in this important water way.
Implementing the Riparian Restoration program we have with Charlie Maslin would have been unthinkable in 2019 due to the amount of blackberry choking and blocking access to the waterway. Now, not only is it possible, it's scheduled. Please join us for one of our Riparian Experiences June 25-28 or October 15-18 to see how we are doing it and get involved.
